Profile: Agro Syndicate was started as consultancy group in the field of floriculture and landscaping several years back and has matured into a complete technical consortium with technical support of experts and scientists and infrastructural back up of modern machinery and equipment. The agency handles several projects in private sector in the fields of horticulture, landscaping, agriculture and medicinal/aromatic plant cultivation. Many government agencies like department of Tourism, Gulmarg development authority, Lakes & Waterways dev Authority (LAWDA), Pahalgam dev authority, Cable Car Corporation and river Jehlum beautification agency have been kind enough to repose trust in our technical competence and ability to execute and deliver. Few years back we successfully ventured into the field of handling maintenance/up keeping of landscape areas, parks, hotel/industrial surroundings, and other features of floriculture and aesthetic value. Our first venture beyond consultancy as landscape development and maintenance agency was lake cum children’s park at Dobhi Ghath Gulmarg in 2006. Due to short working period at Gulmarg we were given just three months time for completion of the project and we achieved the target ahead of schedule. This forty acre park is now centre of attraction with its breath taking landscape completely in harmony with the existing environs and eco-friendly atmosphere of Gulmarg, hosting varied flora to attract much of the tourist traffic to Gulmarg. In 2007 we were entrusted to handle execution of extension within Gulmarg Park along with landscape maintenance by Gulmarg development authority and a step further adding another feather to our organization’s cap, we were engaged as consultants for development of Zabarwan Park on the banks of world famous Dal Lake by tourism department. The park was a new experiment in urban landscape development with multi dimensional entertainment and relaxation facilities within limited area and constraints of minimum intervention with topography and ecosystem of the area. The park was completed and commissioned in record period of sixty two days with latest landscape and hardscape features, sweeps of traditional and aromatic flora. We are proud to be associated with landscape maintenance of this park till date. In 2008-09 landscape works at historical Nigeen club and adjacent Nandpora festival and entertainment Park spread over fifteen acres was completed by our firm and Landscape work at these two places was specially appreciated by Hon Chief Minister and Governor of the state. Currently we have been assigned maintenance job of these projects as well. In addition we are maintaining eco Park at Khadnyaar Baramulla on scientific lines with a thrust on eco- friendly maintenance approach. Apart from all these we have a good number private sector clients in J&K who are satisfied with the quality of our work.
